Happy Valley Estate

Set on a private five-acre property on Sycamore Road in Pleasanton — near the Happy Valley area and the Callippe Preserve golf course — the Happy Valley Estate is a ground-up, 7,000-square-foot custom home Ridgecrest Designs took from first render to final walkthrough. As a true design-build project, our team led every phase: architecture, interiors, and the full construction.

The home is organic-modern with wine-country warmth — gabled volumes and vertical siding outside; custom reclaimed-wood trusses, ten-foot Portella steel doors and windows, layered stone, and warm white-oak within. A vaulted great room opens to a covered outdoor loggia with a plaster fireplace; the kitchen flows to a working pantry and a light-filled dining room. Every material was resolved in photorealistic detail before construction began, giving the family complete visual certainty from day one.
